The Corston Wheatsheaf Pub & Restaurant marks a fresh chapter under new operators
Harriet Furlong and Ross Harper — a duo passionate about great food, welcoming service, and good music.​​Our mission is simple: to welcome everyone who visits us with delicious, seasonal dishes, friendly faces, and an atmosphere that feels effortlessly cool and comfortable.
We invite you to eat, drink, and enjoy, as we bring together quality, creativity, and a flavour-first approach in everything we do.
Led by General Manager Harriet Furlong and Head Chef Ross Harper, The Corston Wheatsheaf is proudly family-run. The pair first met while working with the Bath Pub Company at The Chequers in Bath, where their team earned 2 AA Rosettes, as well as Best Sunday Roast and Manager of the Year awards. Together, Harriet and Ross bring over 40 years of hospitality experience, spanning Bristol, Bath, the Southwest, London, and beyond — from award-winning gastropubs to hotels, restaurants, and bars.​​
In the kitchen, Ross and his team champion seasonal, fresh, and flavour-packed dishes, crafted from locally sourced produce and made entirely from scratch.
Out front, Harriet and her team curate a cocktail, beer, and wine selection that perfectly complements the menu and the mood.​​
